It comes from the Black Beauty Collection, which consists of blue lab created opal and black jade.?While inlay work is certainly a staple of Native American jewelry, is takes an incredible amount of work to pull off well. However, this pendant features "Fancy Cut" work, which is much more detailed than most you see. There are not a lot of artists that can create this much detail, even in the talented world of Native American jewelry. The pendant measures 13/16" x 3/4" not including the bail.
